Its clear in total darkness at 12 feet away. Its all about where you place the cameras. The audio was good. The scan mode that alerts and turns on the screen at night on loud noises was exactly what i needed. The fact that i can disconnect and use the cameras with batteries was helpful to when my kid is napping in a different room. This is the best you can get without installing a expensive security camera system.

We ordered this hoping our interference problem with other cameras would go away. This camera worked great during the day without interference, but at night we could not see a thing. We have a fairly large home and this camera would lose connection about 3/4 of the way from one end to the other. If your house is smaller than 3000sq.ft, this may work for you. But with 4500sq.ft, we need something with a stronger signal.

Great product. We had an analog system for our first child and upgraded to this system for the birth of our second child. We could not be happier. We have two cameras on the system now and both work great. We will likely add a third camera for the play room in the future. Digital is the way to go and Home Sentry got it right.
