I didn’t buy my monitor thru Amazon, but thought my review of the product would help others.

I’ve been a big fan of Summer Infant’s video monitors since my 1st son was born over 4 years ago. A couple of years ago, I submitted a comment to Summer asking for a monitor that could pick up more than two video feeds… well, it looks like submitting comments actually pays off! The Sleek and Secure monitors that I just received (from a different vender# are great! They aren’t perfect #night vision could still be a little better – it’s a little grainy and a little washed out, and the sound is not true – it’s digital and I’m used to the older Summer monitors#, but I must say I love the fact it can see up to 4 video feeds, is smaller and lighter than the older monitors, and has the intercom button, so I can tell my 4 year old to get back into bed without having to walk up the stairs a billion times. I just purchased another set so I can have 4 video feeds in the house #2 bedrooms, playroom, and bathroom – yes, my 4 yr old likes to play in there and stall after bedtime#. I noticed that many reviews of the Slim and Secure #the version that came out before this one) noted issues with the digital signal interfering with their wireless modems and cordless phones. I, thus far, have not had an issue. I’m very happy!! :)

I had purchased and returned several different monitors before this one because each one had a flaw I couldn’t live with. This was the first monitor I could find that had the capacity for muliple cameras and didn’t automatically go into the “sleep” mode (essentially turning off until it hears a loud sound. I hated that!) I like the autoscan mode that goes between cameras every few seconds the best. The sounds stays on the entire time and is very sensitive. This is exactly what I wanted as I like to hear my children breathing. The color and picture quality is not the best, but that’s okay with me… I can still see the kids just fine. Also, the screen is a little small, so when it splits into 4 boxes for the multi-view mode, the boxes are only about an inch in size. And maybe my husband and I just can’t figure it out, but the sound seems to turn off in multi-view mode too. So there is a little room for improvement, but overall, I am extremely happy with this product and would definately recommend it to anyone who wants to use multiple cameras with their video monitor.
